Job summary
Paediatric Physiotherapy Team Leader - Band 7 - 30 hours per week - 12 Months fixed term contract.
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist who can support the leadership of the Physiotherapy team. this post is based at the Beacon Centre, Carnforth Drive, Worcester with Countywide working and the possibility of occasional home working.
This is a dynamic, innovative and friendly team who work in partnership with families and young people to offer high quality care. The service is moving towards implementing the balanced system and are currently following a clinical prioritisation approach. this is an exciting time of service development and strong leadership will be required to assist this process.
The successful candidate will require excellent interpersonal skills to empower and support the team through service changes. Significant post registration experience in paediatrics is essential bringing a wealth of knowledge to support the team clinically.
The post holder will be supported by Team Leads and Service Leads and will have opportunities for career development.

Main duties of the job
To lead and be responsible for the Paediatric Physiotherapy Service in the South of the County, evaluating and planning services and working closely and proactively with other agencies and professionals.
To ensure effective induction, supervision/appraisal and training of qualified and non-qualified (support staff and students) within the Paediatric Therapy Team.
To provide expert advice and guidance to patients, carers, professionals and schools.
To work closely with the wider MDT to ensure effective collaboration and joined up thinking around service development.
To maintain high professional standards, continuously promoting and developing the Physiotherapy profession and our service.
to implement department and trust objectives working alongside the other therapy team leads, service lead and clinical services manager.

2. Post graduate course relevant to paediatrics
