As the Team Leader you will be responsible for the delivery and quality of Rail/Civils works. You will ensure that safety is maintained at a high level and ensure that the site organisation, including labour and materials are managed effectively. Whilst liaising with the Supervisor, you will ensure high standards of communication and customer service are upheld and a professional working relationship is maintained. Your primary responsibilities will include: Receiving and carrying out instructions from the supervisor relating to the work programme Ensuring all mechanical equipment, machinery and hand tools are used safely and correctly and maintained in good working order. Directing and managing a team PTS/CSCS Skilled operatives Ensure all work is carried out effectively, to a high quality and on time. All necessary paperwork is completed correctly and on time Duties are carried out in accordance with the H&S at Work Act Where required, attend training as directed by the company Undertake all duties as directed by the supervisor and RSSI management team Role Requirements: In-date PTS (Personal Track Safety) CSCS and SSSTS qualification Full UK Driving Licence Extensive expereince with Civils/Rail site delivery requirements Proven track record of successfully managing site delivery worker teams. Interfacing with staff across all departments at all levels Capable of prioritising and co-ordinating resources, plant and labour to ensure the successful delivery of the works.
