Qualified Financial Accountant required to join a well-established facilities management business in Oldham
Your new company
Your new company is a well-established facilities management business that has been operating nationally for over 100 years. Due to a recent internal promotion, they are now looking to strengthen their finance function with a qualified financial accountant.
Your new role
As the financial accountant, you will take ownership of the timely preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow while providing analysis and information to the profit centers. You'll support the Financial Controller with the budget, forecasts, and ad hoc financial and non-financial reporting. You will deal with multiple currencies and foreign exchange when required. You will business partner with the wider business and engage with senior stakeholders on a daily basis.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE with previous experience working within an SME business in a complex accounting environment. You will have strong technical and analytical experience and be comfortable with financial statements. You need to be ambitious and demonstrate a real desire to improve processes and procedures. A strong communicator is a must, as you will engage with various stakeholders and must demonstrate an excellent work ethic and a hands-on attitude.
