Mobile Plumbing Engineer
Covering Epsom, Surrey and Guildford
Role Summary
A plumbing biased trades person (mobile) is required to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call outs to plumbing/fabric works.
Main Responsibilities and Duties include:
1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Contract Managers, including supporting our help desk with site cover, water hygiene, and plant inspections; filter changes, and other duties related to plumbing works.
2. Update/close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on our CAFM System.
3. Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize efficient operation and reliability of plants and associated systems.
4. Adhere to company QA and site procedures in all aspects.
5. Follow both Client and Integral’s Health & Safety procedures at all times.
6. Maintain accurate records for both site and reactive works.
7. Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with call-outs/repairs as required or requested by management.
8. Attend site emergencies outside of normal working hours.
9. Form part of the Out of Hours rota team.
10. Carry out tasks within typical plant room environments and at high levels, working from platforms and ladders (all access and PPE will be provided).
11. Keep and maintain all company-issued tools in a safe and working condition.
12. Proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach.
13. Complete any other associated tasks requested by management.
14. Obtain prices from suppliers, prepare, and submit standard quotations relating to the works being quoted.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. C&G:6035 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing studies.
2. BPEC Water Supply (Water fittings) Regs:1999.
3. MEWP - IPAF 3a/3b.
4. Fabric maintenance qualifications.
5. IPAF 1b (Spider).
6. Legionella / L8 Qualification.
