The Role:
- Teach Art across the secondary curriculum, adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
- Create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
- Develop strong relationships with students, helping them break down barriers to education.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the school team to support each student's holistic development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in SEMH or similar specialist settings.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- A passion for engaging students through creative arts.
- The ability to build trust and rapport with vulnerable students.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
