Job Title : General Pharmacist Banding: Band 7 Location : Ashford Start: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate : £ 2 8 - £ 34 per hour Working hours: Full time, Monday- Friday We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Pharmacist to join our clients team in Ashford. This role is integral to providing exceptional pharmaceutical care within our diagnostics and cancer ward. The successful candidate will be a key member of their pharmacy clinical services, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications and contributing to the overall quality of patient care. What will your responsibilities be : As a General Pharmacist, you will be responsible for a range of duties aimed at optimising patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include conducting medication reviews, verifying prescriptions, and providing clinical advice to healthcare professionals. You will also be involved in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. You will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contribute to the development of treatment protocols, and provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medications. Qualifications and Experiences: Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, particularly in diagnostics and cancer care Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Commitment to continuous professional development and learning Why work with Pulse?
