Finance Controller Experience in FMCG / manufacturing in a fast-paced e-commerce business is essential. You will be qualified to ACCA or CIMA level and will have worked in a direct-to-consumer business with experience in e-commerce metrics. You’ll have full responsibility of P&L preparation in this role, and you’ll be delivering accurate monthly management accounts, and producing detailed financial and digital forecasts. You will report to the CEO and work closely with investors. You will need to have a passion for all things accountancy, but you will also need to be confident, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking with strong leadership and influencing skills to help drive the company's growth. Responsibilities as Financial Controller will include: Drive awareness, accountability, and responsibility for all factory-related costs, -distribution, accurate bills of manufacturing materials, cost of sales information, etc. Full responsibility for P&L of operational Performance – daily, weekly, and monthly. Recommending improvements on revenue, cost, and margins influencing commercial decisions within the business. Digital forecasts Developing and leading on financial reporting inclusive of systems, tools, and process setup. Managing all financial planning processes for budgeting forecasting and analysis of performance of the company in line with the business plan. Budget control Monthly Management accounts and weekly cash flow. Preparation and submission of VAT returns Accrual and prepayments Review and reconcile all balance sheet accounts. Experience needed Qualified Accountant in direct-to-consumer or subscription-based service AAT Level 4, CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified Previously managed the P&L and hands-on financials Finance experience from within the manufacturing or FMCG sectors is highly desirable, where you will have had full P&L exposure, in terms of an end-to-end production process, to fully understand and appreciate manufacturing operations.
