Job Title: Customer Service Credit Controller – Vehicle finance and rental

Salary: £22k - £24k
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am – 6pm) 3-days office 2-days home after training
Our client is a vehicle finance and rental company providing flexible vehicle solutions for ride-hailing drivers, focused on electric vehicles.
Your role is to provide support to the Head of Credit and Credit Controllers, in the management of customers with live contracts and the aftercare of customers whose agreements have ended, as appropriate.
The collections team is split between managing live customers and customers who have finished their contracts. The team works closely with other functions within the Company – Sales, Operations, and Finance departments.
Our client offers short-term rentals and hire purchase products to drivers on ride-hailing platforms such as Uber, with vehicles mainly operating in London and Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support – maintaining accurate customer account records, actioning transactions and processing customer payments.
2. Customer contact – making outbound contact attempts via email, SMS, and telephone, reaching out to customers who are experiencing financial difficulty.
3. Identification of customer vulnerability, providing the appropriate support.
4. Completion of Income & Expenditure assessments and the agreement of suitable payment plans.
5. Compliance with FCA, TCF, AML, GDPR & PCI guidelines.
6. Liaison with departments including the Vehicle Servicing/Support teams.
