Role Description
An opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant has become available at our Head Office in Carlisle. The role assists in the maintenance of the purchase ledgers for Cumbria Waste Group, currently consisting of 4 trading legal entities, to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, credits and payments, ensuring delivery of an effective and efficient finance support function for the business.
What you need:
1. Proven work experience as a purchase ledger assistant or similar role
2. Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data processing
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Accounting Technician qualification (AAT), level 3 or similar
5. Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
