This role is designed for a Manufacturing Engineer (Digital Process) looking to transition their manufacturing expertise into a digital process focus. You will become a key member of the Banbury Digital Operations Team, ensuring the smooth running of our digital operational tools and systems. Your primary focus will be on supporting business processes-including ERP, MES, and PLM-while playing a pivotal role in the rollout and enhancement of corporate digital solutions. A strong background in manufacturing operations is essential, along with the ability to address business challenges either by optimising existing legacy systems or by implementing alternative solutions. What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like? - Support Business Process Operations: Provide essential assistance across digital operational tools to ensure seamless business functioning. - Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve system-related challenges. - Team Coordination: Work closely with support teams across Actuation Systems and Enterprise Digital Technology. - Process Excellence: Promote and drive continuous process improvements, develop best practice solutions, and support new process rollouts. - Training & Coaching: Implement best practice processes through standard work, user training, and coaching. - System Integrity & Optimisation: Maintain data accuracy and system efficiency by correcting master data, aged transactions, and system errors (5S) and by optimising SAP usage. - Continuous Improvement: Contribute to multifunctional teams within the ACE framework to drive sustained improvements. Essential skills: - Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of operations. - Business Process Expertise: In-depth knowledge of key business processes (ERP, SPC, MES, PLM) combined with strong analytical capabilities. - Organisational & Planning Skills: Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy. - SQL Proficiency: Ability to create and modify SQL queries, with strong practical experience using SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio).
