A NASDAQ listed semiconductor organisation in the UK, currently looking for a Cybersecurity and Cloud Architect to join their ranks. The organisation is well known in their field and offers strong benefits and hybrid working, as well as shares in the company, split over 4 years.
Your new role
You will be responsible for defining the architecture requirements for the cybersecurity and cloud solutions, ensuring adherence by the engineering and implementation teams. You will also be accountable for the organisation's cloud security posture, ensuring alignment with business and technology. Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the cloud security strategy across a large and complex multi-cloud environment, ensuring the right people, processes, and technologies are in place.
2. Creating and leading technical security strategy plans and roadmaps for all environments, including cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
3. Developing and maintaining security architecture artefacts, including models, templates, standards, and procedures.
4. Establishing baseline security configuration standards for operating systems, networks, and infrastructure.
5. Understanding AI and Automation across Enterprise Security to improve efficiency and security outcomes.
6. Performing security reviews, identifying gaps, and developing a risk management plan.
7. Tracking changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure they are addressed in security strategy plans and architecture artefacts.
8. Evaluating Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure adequate security protections are in place and assessing providers' audit reports for security-related deficiencies.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience in developing and maintaining security architecture processes and strategies for cybersecurity solutions.
2. Experience with cloud and on-premise infrastructure security.
3. Ability to perform security reviews, identify gaps, and develop risk management plans.
4. Experience in threat modelling and secure coding practices.
5. Superb communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
6. Knowledge of privacy regulations and data flow documentation.
