Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme & Whitchurch Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time Reporting to: Engineering Manager Job Req: R8227 What will you do? This role involves both pre-planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery across two facilities. You will work on a range of animal feed processing equipment ensuring maximum up time on the plant. Experience in both electrical and mechanical aspects preferable. Tasks and responsibilities as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer: Carrying out pre-planned maintenance tasks on all site machinery. Ensuring reactive maintenance is carried out in a timely manner to minimise down time. Active involvement in capital expenditure projects and continuous improvement projects. Communicating with all aspects of the production team to ensure all company safety, quality & environmental policies/procedures are adhered to at all times. Maintaining 5S standards in all work areas. Your CV shows: Multi-Skilled engineer. That you have been in a supervisory role within a maintenance department. Nationally recognised apprenticeship or equivalent electrical or mechanical engineering. Knowledge of and experience with electrical energy technology, PLC & Scada. Experience working with CMMS systems. Counter-balance FLT licence. A working knowledge of Word and Excel. Full UK driving licence.
