Responsibilities to become a successful SEN Teacher will be:

1. Working with small groups and 1:1
2. Assisting pupils with academic tasks
3. Encouraging independence
4. Safeguarding all children
5. Adhering to the curriculum, including up-to-date changes in the structure
6. Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs
7. Positive outlook and attitude.
8. Being flexible, caring and nurturing
9. Knowledge of various teaching methods
10. Good organisational and verbal communication skills
