Marks Sattin are partnering with a reputable Chartered Accountancy Firm in the Derby area to recruit a Client Services Accounts Supervisor. Now is a great time to join as this is a newly created position following my clients expansion and future growth plans. This role is a hybrid working role (3 days in the offices and 2 remote working days). The Client Services Accounts Supervisor will oversee the client accounting of various sporting, media and entertainment clients where you will prepare corporate client accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for the Client Services Accounts Supervisor to also gain exposure to corporate finance, i. transaction services activities. My client is seeking an ambitious newly qualified/qualified accountant who is keen to grow and develop their skills as they continue to grow and expand further. Responsibilities of the Client Services Accounts Supervisor include: Supervising a portfolio of entertainment, media and sports clients Supervising the bookkeeping, invoice raising for contractual income and ad-hoc appearances, credit control and VAT returning of clients Preparing financial statements from "client source records" and completing supporting schedules for management review Attending adhoc client meetings and travel to client sites Advising trainees/junior staff members in the department, and delegating work where necessary Providing support on project and transaction services; including preparing cash flow forecasts and business plans to support with business planning, finance raising or transaction support Collating due diligence information when requested Directly liaising with clients to collate and prepare necessary information to support with MBOs, trade sales and acquisitions Ensuring strong relationships are maintained with clients and queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner at all times To be considered, you will: Be ACA or ACCA Qualified Have experience in Practice / Chartered Accountancy firm, dealing with a broad client base Have proven experience in accounts prep and VAT returns preparation Have good technical accounting knowledge Ideally have experience in project and advisory services (not essential) Have fantastic communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of individuals/teams Great time management - ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner and ensuring accuracy at all times Have experience using Xero accounting software Have an interest in the entertainment, sport and media field, given the client base that this role will oversee Be an ambitious individual with a desire to develop and progress their career.
