A highly reputable Newport based practice are looking to add an experienced Bookkeeper to their Business Services team. This is a really varied role, where you will also be involved with completing management accounts. The Bookkeeper role involves managing your own portfolio of clients and providing a superior Bookkeeping service. To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have worked with cloud based accounting software, including, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone seeking to be challenged and work with a variety of clients from a multitude of sectors. To be considered for this role you do need to have gained accountancy practice Bookkeeping experience. Bookkeeper duties and responsibilities; Posting invoices, reconciling bank and preparing journals such as accruals, prepayments and depreciation. Working with cloud based accountancy packages including, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks. Data processing and reconciliations both at client premises and within the office. Preparing VAT returns. Management accounts. Assistance with Accounts preparation. Liaising with clients and assisting with general queries via email and telephone. Training clients with accountancy software. Assisting with junior members of the team as and when required. Working Hours; Monday-Friday 37.5 hour per week.
