The Role
As an Audit Semi-Senior, you will support the delivery of audit assignments, working closely with seniors, assistant managers, and managers. You will assist in executing audit procedures, liaising with clients, and ensuring high-quality work. Additionally, you will begin to take on more responsibility in audit engagements, reviewing aspects of junior team members' work, providing support, and developing your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing accounts and financial statements
* Processing client records efficiently and accurately
* Producing management accounts
* Completing and reviewing VAT returns
* Handling basic client queries and general administrative duties
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The Person
To be successful in this role, it is likely that you are:
* Accurate, detail-focused, and highly organised
* Skilled in IT, with knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH being a plus
* Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
* A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, and a great team player
Minimum Requirements
* AAT qualified or currently studying ACCA
* At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice
