Ridge and Partners LLP is seeking a Cost Manager to join our Cost Management team in our Oxford office, working alongside our multi-disciplinary consultant teams. Whilst general Cost Management experience and skills are required there would be an opportunity to work alongside our specialist team of MEP Cost Managers and develop knowledge and skills in this specialist area if it was of interest. You will play a key part in the continued growth of this service particularly in the Retail and Banking sector Role And Responsibilities Assist in the evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals Assist on contract arrangements and conditions under which building will be constructed Assist on implications of different construction methods, materials etc Provide assistance with the undertaking of pre and post contract work for both End User Clients and Contractors / Sub-Contractors Working on energy reduction and sustainability innovations and roll outs Experience And Skills Required You will have an inquisitive nature, analytical mind, and possess: Numerical/maths skills and excellent literacy Ability to use your own initiative Confidence and good communication skills Interested in using computers for design work, calculations, and testing designs And above all else, a real passion for building your career within construction/design
