As Technical Services Manager you are responsible for leading the technical services team of 5 staff, to drive technical excellence at Colworth Park, ensuring SHE policies are rigorously enforced with a compilation of technical reports. You will be liaising with the client to ensure a strong understanding of their needs and owning and delivering larger/technically complex projects. You need to drive energy management as a key part of this role, and deliver monthly financial reports.
This is a key role where you will ensure a high performing team that meets the expectations of the client at all times, ensuring the PPM and reactive maintenance required is done in a safe, efficient way that meets all legislative requirements.
This role will require travel to site when on standby/call out, due to the location of the site your own transport is essential.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong electrical qualifications C&G or equivalent
AP2
Electrical systems competent person
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Client delivery mindset with a focus on excellence and efficiency
Able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
Experience of CAFM is desirable
Experience in commercial HVAC
Strong people management experience and skillset
Sound understanding of relevant SHE legislation
Intermediate working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable
Experience with a BMS platform (preferably Trend)
Experience of Lenel Security Systems
Degree or other qualification in engineering or building services
Well make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role, in a demanding, fast paced environment. You will work 37.5 hours per week plus but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level, this will include 1 in 5 weeks call out/standby rota.
