About the role
Outstanding Teacher of Art and Design required who can demonstrate strong classroom management and inspire an enthusiasm for learning.
The successful candidate will have experience of teaching good or better lessons up to Key Stage 4.
This full-time role will start September 2024 and will be until December 2024 initially, with a possibility of being extended to July 2025.
Art and Design is a popular subject at GCSE and results are reflective of the hard work and dedication of the department.
The successful applicant will join a friendly and supportive team of staff who work together to ensure the highest achievement for all students.
The school was rated as GOOD in all areas at the last inspection, with the leadership team noted for embedding a nurturing culture where students flourish.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Art and Design Teacher you will:
1. Have a degree or equivalent education.
2. Hold QTS/QTLS/PGCE
3. Be engaging and enthusiastic in your teaching.
4. Have experience of teaching Art to KS4.
5. Able to provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK
