It is an excellent opportunity for junior or middle managers to further their career. As a Service Manager, you will assist in the delivery of service targets, improvements and streamlining of administrative processes. You will line manage the Support Manager and ensure smooth day to day operational running of the service across multiple sites. You will work closely with the medical and nursing teams as well as administrative staff, providing support to management colleagues and Clinical Leads. The Clinical Business Unit welcomes candidates who have experience of managing teams, service changes and experience of complex problem solving. You must be able to work in a pressured environment and adaptable to change as this is an ever-changing environment. You will be supported with any training required in the role and we support personal and professional development in the business unit. The successful candidate can be Lincoln or Boston based. You will need to be able to travel to other sites 1-2 times per week. The job is full time and will need to be worked over 5 days (Mon - Fri). Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be an experienced NHS manager who is used to working in large provider organisations and has proven experience of providing strong leadership and delivering operational performance in a directorate. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will relish the challenges ahead and have previously managed services including staff and performance measures. Key to success will be working closely and building strong relationships with clinical teams to ensure services are safe, responsive and effective. Excellent people management skills and resilience are fundamental skills required for these roles. In addition, we are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate delivery to performance standards, collaboratively work across boundaries, capable to develop and motivate teams, as well as show commitment to improving quality and patient experience.
