Position: Technician - Electrical Installation
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Electrical Installation Technician to support the teaching and learning at the Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone (Ebbw Vale).
You will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Installation. Teamwork, enthusiasm, and a flexible approach are attributes required within this area.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting both staff and students in all aspects of the practical curriculum, including stock control and ordering.
2. Completing regular Health & Safety audits of the equipment and environment within this area.

Lecturing posts will require a teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) or the willingness to attain one within a specified period of time. This will be a requirement under your contract of employment and EWC registration.
