Salary range: From £34,095.16 up to £43,000.00 p/a depending on the level of skill and experience. Hours: 37 hours per week - must be prepared to be flexible regarding working hours. Base: Grimsby office, but you must be willing and able to travel to their office in Doncaster for meetings, training etc, if and when necessary. Essential requirements: A minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience working within a fostering service A Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work Sound working knowledge of Child Protection procedures Experience and working knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance including: Children Act, Working Together, Every Child Matters, Care Standards Act, Fostering Regulations, and Care Planning Responsibilities and tasks include: Duties To promote and safeguard children's welfare within quality family placements. To undertake the recruitment, approval, training and support functions related to foster carers.
