A global manufacturing company on the next phase of its major expansion is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a highly respected organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for the operational maintenance, equipment reliability and related maintenance and manufacturing processes at the facility.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Lead, the role holder will be responsible for help develop, undertake, and demonstrate the maintenance strategy which ensures an efficient output of the business unit, meeting all KPI's.
* Responsible for driving standards of safe working, diagnosing, inspecting, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure that all machinery is functioning and achieving the overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
* The role expectation will be one that demonstrates a very hands-on approach with a proactive mindset & continuous improvement at the forefront always.
* The role holder will work on a day-to-day basis within a small team of maintenance, including both maintenance and contractor personnel
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Apprenticeship or College background in Maintenance.
* Background knowledge & experience within a fast-moving manufacturing organisation.
* Multi skilled, electrical or mechanical bias
