The Community and School Aged Immunisation Service is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Clinical Lead. The Clinical Lead will need to be a registered healthcare professional able to administer vaccines under a Patient Group Directive.
Proposed interview dates: 12th and 13th December 2024
• Ensure the Immunisation service is effective, efficient and safe by supporting the improvement in the capability of the staff and their practice.
• Ensure best practice is built into Immunisation service delivery models .
• Support service audits and highlight areas for improvement.
• Deliver annual immunisation updates to Practice Nurse immunisers according to the RCN/PHE National Immunisation Training Standard Guidelines.
• Deliver immunisation updates to HCT CSAIS, as required.
• Support an effective student programme.
• Ensure the National Immunisation Service is available to the eligible cohort.
• Ensure immunisation projects achieve outstanding uptake.
• Implement prudent financial decisions, including being an authorised signatory
