About the Role
The Bid Manager will take responsibility for the end-to-end bid process, from the PQQ stage through to final submission, ensuring compliance with governance requirements and delivering high-quality, professional proposals.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor tender portals and Tenders Direct to identify relevant PQQ and tender opportunities.
* Develop bids by creating bid plans, drafting responses, and incorporating input from key stakeholders, including business development, marketing, design, estimating, and operations teams.
* Ensure the overall quality and accuracy of bid submissions, including graphical content.
* Participate in peer reviews to enhance the quality and competitiveness of bids.
* Lead complex proposals and coordinate a team with the necessary expertise to deliver successful bids.
* Integrate supply chain and specialist contributions into proposals and maintain a network of contacts to support bid development.
* Produce compliant, professionally crafted proposals within customer deadlines.
* Assist in analysing bid and RFP requirements to ensure compliance and responsiveness to client needs.
* Review completed proposals to ensure accuracy, adherence to requirements, and compliance with page limits.
* Conduct regular progress meetings and manage the proposal schedule.
