Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: Dorset, Bournemouth Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £140 Per day Job Duties: 1. Delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. 2. Following the lesson plans provided and ensuring all learning objectives are met. 3. Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment. 4. Providing feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues encountered. 5. Collaborating with other staff members to support the overall educational goals of the school. Required Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Relevant teaching qualification - Enhanced DBS check Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience in a teaching role preferred Knowledge and Skills: - Strong understanding of the UK curriculum - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different students - Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively Preferred Qualifications: - Additional training in special education or behaviour management - Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: - Work hours may vary based on school needs - Classroom environment with the potential for interaction with students and other staff members - Willingness to travel to different schools within the area All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
