Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Full-time

About the role:
We are looking for a passionate, excellent and experienced Teacher or middle leader who will play an integral role in establishing a brand-new autism provision at Ark Brunel.
This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills and expertise within a specialist setting. You will oversee and lead on the teaching, learning and assessment of all pupils in the provision, using specific autism and communication curriculums and systems.
Our ideal candidate will have:
·Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
·Experience teaching pupils with autism
·Good knowledge of the SEND code of practice and all statutory requirements and timelines
·Good knowledge of the Ofsted inspection framework, particularly in regards to pupils with SEND
·Trained in (or have used) specialist teaching and learning strategies applicable to working and supporting pupils with autism
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·Genuine passion for, and a belief in, the potential of every pupil.
