Overview of the role:
You will be responsible for teaching students the importance of physical activity and promoting healthy lifestyles from KS3 to KS5.
The right candidate will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
* Relevant specialist qualifications and experience
* Ability to deliver engaging girls’ PE lessons and promote a love for a range of sports and physical activities
* A strength in delivering a range of examination classes (GCSE and BTEC Level 3), netball, football, cricket, badminton and other major games would be an advantage and prepared to commit to our wide range of extracurricular activities
* Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for PE at KS3 and 4 (KS5 would be desirable)
* Enthusiasm and commitment to extra-curricular PE activities for the enrichment of learners and the wider school community
