Behaviour Mentor - Southwark - ASAP - PRU - £100-£115 a day (depending on experience)
Behaviour Mentor required for a secondary school based in Southwark.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with young people with challenging behaviour to help them overcome their challenges.
2. Provide support and mentoring during difficult times.
3. Act as a positive role model by setting a good example.
4. Provide one-to-one support or group support for small groups.
5. Support or lead intervention groups targeted at students with challenging behaviour or SEMH problems.
6. Maintain close contact with class teachers and the behavioural teaching team to inform them of student progress.
About the Provision:
Teach 360 is working with a PRU located in Croydon that provides services for children unable to attend mainstream schools due to disabilities. Students may be permanently excluded or at risk of exclusion for behaviour reasons, have emotional or behavioural difficulties, or have special educational needs (SEN).
