A Creative Designer is a creative professional who works under the guidance of the National Creative Design team to create engaging designs and solutions for various projects, both for digital and physical marketing campaigns. They bring ideas to life by producing drafts, prototypes, and final design solutions. They’ll be comfortable collaborating with team members on projects, pitching creative ideas, liaising with stakeholders and clients and incorporating feedback to continuously improve their designs and contribute to the successful launch of projects. Job brief As a Creative Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with the existing Creative Design team to produce work of the highest quality. In this role, your creativity and meticulous attention to detail will be crucial. You’ll be an essential part of the day-to-day creative output of the department by creating impactful designs following our brand guidelines, effectively representing and promoting TC Group and assisting the creative and marketing team in supporting our service line and sector teams by providing the best possible design collateral to their clients and winning new business into the group. Working alongside members of the in-house Creative & Marketing team on all projects, there’ll be a broad range of briefs including but not limited to: Printed flyers Promotional materials and merchandise Static and animated social media content Social media advertising Event invitations and stand design Website content Stationery Brand development Updating company documents PowerPoint presentations Brochure design Email design Videography & content editing Briefs will come from the in-house Creative & Marketing team. Key responsibilities of a Creative Designer Understand project requirements and asking questions to interrogate a brief where needed. Communicating on the status of a project with the relevant stakeholders. Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas. Use Adobe Creative Cloud design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create artwork for a range of both digital and physical marketing campaigns and projects. Pitch creative ideas and communicate effectively with team members Collaborate with team members on projects. Take on the challenge to learn new skills and develop design interests. Use feedback from other team members to improve. Develop relationships within the Creative & Marketing team and the wider TC Central team. Supporting the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects. About you We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant role or field. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software. Experience using Office 365 Experience working with video editing desirable but training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with the design process from briefing to completion. Understanding of visual design principles (layout, type, space etc). Teamwork skills and ability to positively take on board feedback and drive personal development. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Consistency regardless of project size. Motivation to maintain and improve design standards. A keen eye for detail. Ability to prioritise work and schedule time for reoccurring design activities such as monthly newsletters and social media content. Creativity and problem-solving ability.
