Suffolk County Council is looking for a Plumber based in Great Wenham. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of GBP34,640 per annum.

About the role
This is an opportunity to join the Councils in a new dynamic housing repairs team.
You will be responsible for undertaking high-quality reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance works to internal and external elements of occupied properties and provide outstanding customer service and excellent standards of performance to the public residents of Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils.
The role includes a multitude of duties:
1. Coordinate the delivery of the Communities Service Delivery Plan and Performance Indicators.
2. Support the development and maintenance of a performance management system for reporting and data analysis.
3. Present monthly performance information (monitoring and identifying trends) against key indicators through a variety of means e.g. monthly performance management reports, cabinet members updates, ensuring that the Head of Service and Managers are fully appraised of key performance trends and issues and that areas of under-performance can be effectively challenged.
About you
In addition to having great technical plumbing skills, you'll need to have a focused customer service approach and be adaptable and resourceful when working in a team or independently across the districts.
