This is a permanent Paediatric Registered Nurse (Nights) role at Sonderwell in High Wycombe. Main duties of the job
The Paediatric Registered Nurse (Nights) will be responsible for providing complex care to clients in their own homes, including enteral feeding, medication administration, non-invasive ventilation, oral suctioning, and nasopharyngeal suctioning. The role involves working either on your own or as part of a team, with day-to-day support from a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager. The successful candidate will have a caring personality, relevant experience, and the ability to gain the trust of clients and their families.

We have a robust onboarding process where, as a new employee, you’ll first complete your training and paid induction. As part of your induction, you will shadow another member of your team. This helps you understand your new role and get to know people in your team. Your colleagues and management team will work with you during your induction to help you put your training into practice and answer any questions you may have.

Depending on the client, you may be working on your own or part of a team. If you wish and have the availability, you could provide support to more than one client. Before you start, you’ll have the chance to meet your client and their family. And when you do, you’ll have day-to-day support with a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager always on hand to answer your questions. You’ll also be able to access our ‘Carer App’ which is a fantastic source of insight and information.
