This dynamic team is seeking a Facilities and Stores Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the seamless operation of their manufacturing and testing facilities, ensuring that they work harmoniously alongside the research and development unit. Your contributions will be vital in supporting their mission to revolutionise healthcare and expand patient access to life-saving treatments.
You will be responsible for:
1. Planning and overseeing maintenance and repair of building systems, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
2. Coordinating with contractors and managing budgets.
3. Implementing security protocols.
4. Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
5. Maintaining accurate inventory records and optimising storage space.
6. Ensuring timely availability of supplies.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in site, stores, or facility management, with a basic understanding of mechanical systems.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of issues and driving towards solutions.
* Fast thinker, able to conceive and implement practical solutions to problems.
* Competency with IT systems, preferably with experience in ERP/MRP systems.
