Annual Salary Range: Exempt Band 4, MIN $90,800.00 - MED $106,900.00 - MAX $122,900.00
Placement in the salary range is determined by an assessment of knowledge, skills, experience and ability of the candidate to meet the key requirements of the job. In addition, our pay philosophy is to align with the median of the comparable market and to be considerate of internal equity comparisons.

What you'll be doing...
The Project Delivery Department of the Asset Management Division is responsible to plan and deliver capital projects that introduce new or upgrade existing infrastructure and fleet assets of the organisation. Project management resources are allocated to teams that provide centres of expertise for various asset classes. The team responsible for Low Carbon and On-Street Infrastructure constructs low carbon fleet energy distribution and dispensing infrastructure at existing facilities or on-route, and constructs transit exchanges and on-street transit priority infrastructure such as transit priority lanes and intersection features on roadway controlled by local governments. The Fleet Capital Project team is responsible to acquire replacement and expansion transit vehicles for all BC Transit provided transit systems across the Province as well as major maintenance of existing fleets (e.g. engine, transmission and differential replacements).
Reporting to the Program Manager, Capital Fleet Projects the Project Manager, Fleet Capital Projects is responsible for the management of vehicle asset projects including, but not limited to, the planning, acquisition and implementation of four classifications of transit vehicles, various maintenance and operational service vehicles, corporate pool cars, electric charging stations, portable hoists, and select on-board components and or developing, planning and managing the TED Program, which includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of transmissions, engines and differentials (TED) on conventional buses located across the province.

* PMP Designation
* Experience as a Project Manager preferably within a government (or similarly large agency)
* Knowledge of public transit or commercial vehicle transportation would be an asset
