Base - Selby
We are looking predominantly for service people who can deliver "Make Their Day" service on a daily basis. The Café at Selby is fast paced and very busy during lunch times service, mainly serving hospital staff and visitors. We require someone with lots of drive and energy, with a "can do" attitude.
The Café opens from 8am-3pm, Monday to Friday, with shift patterns within these hours.
Every day is different; tasks include working on the tills, serving on hot counters, working in pot wash, wiping tables, and sweeping floors. Excitingly, there are plans to introduce new food concepts such as a Subway-style deli and pizza.
Main duties of the job
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Working on the tills and cash handling
* Serving on hot counters
* Working as a sandwich artist at the deli counter
* Wiping tables and sweeping floors
* Working in pot wash
* Helping serve food to patients in wards
* Assisting in the kitchen when required

Person specification
Education, Qualifications and Training
* Good basic education including reading, writing, and basic numeric skills.
* BICSc Qualification/NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning/Catering or equivalent.
Experience and Knowledge Required
* At least one year of work experience in a catering customer front service role.
