We are looking for a Nursery 121 Support Assistant at Thames Primary Academy & Nursery who can help give our children the best possible start in their early years. Our nursery is an integral part of our Primary Academy. We have a 20 place 2-3 room and a 40 place preschool room. Each room is led by an experienced room leader, supported by 3-4 nursery practitioners and welfare staff who support over lunchtime. Our Nursery Manager comes from an EYFS Teaching background and the majority of children feed through to our Reception classes when they start school. We have a safeguarding lead who works over the whole site, an Early Years SEND team supporting children with additional needs and a nursery administrator who manages admissions, fees, parent contact and attendance. Effectively communicate with early years pupils to encourage social, educational and physical development and acceptable behaviour. Contribute to the planning of activities for the session, day, or week. Lead in the practical learning and play activities of individuals or groups of children. Conduct all activities in a professional manner at all times.
