An exciting opportunity to join our Adult Social Care Transformation and Improvement team, working to support and implement a range of service improvement initiatives across the Adult, Communities and Integration directorate. Keeping people well at home for as long as possible is at the heart of our vision for Bolton people.
We are looking for a talented individual who is committed to making a difference, understands the challenges and opportunities facing Health and Adult Social Care and has excellent project management skills. You should also have excellent networking skills and be able to work in partnership with wider council services and partner organisations, to help deliver better outcomes for people.
The role will support service managers and key system partners with service improvement projects, providing advice, guidance and support. Initially, the post will focus on the implementation of the Adult Social Care Workforce Strategy and Action Plan, supporting delivery of an appropriate Strength-based Practice Model, and related process changes, together with supporting service pathway improvements across Health and Social Care.
About You
You will be knowledgeable and/or experienced in public services such as Adult Social Care or Health Services, demonstrating an understanding of policy development, project management and/or improvement methodologies to help deliver on our service aims.
You will be an organised, enthusiastic self-starter, a skilled communicator, able to use your own initiative and apply technology that supports project progress and enjoys working with people.
