Aramark UK have a great opportunity to join us as a Trainer at Everton Football Club. The impressive brand-new Bramley-Moore Liverpool stadium is set to be one of the most revolutionary and advanced venues for fan experience in Europe. Serving 52,888 fans per matchday, the mission is to set the standard for excellence and create exceptional experiences for Evertonians. The trainer role is responsible for creating, delivering, and evaluating Everton specific operational training for the Aramark casual workforce within the new Everton Stadium located on Bramley Moore Dock, Liverpool. This role will also support the HRBP to deliver an Aramark Culinary School which will offer practical skills development and qualifications opportunities within the local community. This is a full time and permanent position which will be based the stunning, new, Everton Stadium, due to open for the new season in August 2025. What’s in it for you: • Up to £35,000 salary • Generous annual leave that increases in line with service, with the opportunity to buy extra • Defined contribution pension scheme and life assurance benefits • Access to an employee benefit scheme that offers discounts across hundreds of retail and leisure providers • Employee Assistance Programme and in-house Mental Health Champions • FOOD A plethora of opportunities to attend in-house events and try out the culinary genius of our teams (we are a food business after all) Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with line managers to identify Everton specific existing and future skills gaps • Create, deliver, and evaluate Everton specific training ensuring that all solutions and supporting resources are designed in line with Aramark requirements and, for the casual workforce, delivered to all workers prior to an event day • Design and deliver Everton specific onboarding and refresher training – aligned to central processes • Alongside operational management create and deliver the variable workforce site induction and compliance reporting • Create and maintain a simple on-site tracker for workforce training progress and completion • Carry out training audits and training admin as required • Promote central learning and development solutions to line managers • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback and assessment • Work with the central L&D team to fully explore and promote apprenticeship opportunities • Point of contact for all specialist external training providers. Working closely with the departmental line managers on all training content. • Support the HRBP with any stadium specific training requested by the client • Stay up to date with industry standards, techniques, and innovations to ensure training content is current, relevant, and aligned to Aramark standards Key Requirements: • Passion for learning • Experience of working in any role in hospitality • Strong employer brand and training experience • Ability to successfully collaborate and partner with colleagues as a team player and as part of multiple teams across the organisation • Strong attention to detail, alongside analytical skills with the ability to use data to influence across levels, with internal tools. • Strong verbal and written communications skills in both formal and informal settings. • Confident to present at all levels and varying size of teams/communities.
