The Role
The candidate will work within the DN FWD Enablement team which are a group which brings together elements of the Delivery Organisation, whole Boat Integration, Build, Test & Commissioning and Platform Engineering together to support the delivery of the Dreadnought programe through the System of Work (SoW) in the DDH facility. The FWD Enablement team is predominantly focused on the 16-0 Week SoW Window to enable build, test and commissioning activities to ensure progression of the Dreadnought Programme.
Role Responsibilities:

The Enablement team will co-ordinate the successful integration of the required stakeholders (Engineering, Materials, Supply Chain etc..) to support delivery of the Whole Boat build and test schedule.
Producing and maintaining a high quality plan through supporting Plan reviews with relevant Stakeholders.
Enabling enough work ahead of handing over to Production to execute the W/Os in line with the Schedule.
Ensuring that the critical path key W/Os are being progressed to support the Plan.
Ensuring the correct systems are handed to commissioning in the right sequence.
Support Integrated Planning to support Key Build Activities and Key T&C Events.
Ensuring all key dependencies required to enable the KBAs & Key T&C Events are identified, planned and forecasts tracked to support delivery of the start of KBAs and Key T&C Event.
Supporting integrated planning, readiness & delivery management of the design incorporation & build embodiment of authorised change, with embodiment requirement, planning and delivery aligned to the KBA & Key T&C Events.
Support S1/S2 Planning Reviews with the Relevant Stakeholders.
Supporting to Ensure the L4 Plan is kept up to date so that we have clarity on our targets and deliverables through supporting Plan Maintenance sessions, this is to support the next 6 weeks to enable delivery through the SoW.
Identify potential schedule delays and intervene to prevent them occurring, implementing rectification activity as required.
Compiling and Distributing the defect report to the wider DDH dreadnought delivery team.
Support defect reviews with the relevant trades (NRG) to ensure defects are being actioned in a timely manor.
Review and progressing W/O from FSCO to MFAV using the PMAP Process and Co-ordinate the resolution of any issues which are preventing WOs from achieving PMAP/MFAV maturity.
Supporting Producing and Submitting of PMBCRs (where required).
Update commentary on relevant slides for weekly area performance review.
Undertaking Plan on a Page 'What if Scenario' to provide a holistic view, Recommendations will can then be made to.

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of PM policies, processes, procedures and systems
Application of related PM Competencies will be expected at this level
Security Requirements: SC & UK EYES ONLY
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC and you must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum 5 year period. The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs).
