Job summary As a Receptionist at The Three Spires Medical Practice (based in Truro, Cornwall) you will help our patients feel comfortable when they phone or visit the Practice. You will use your empathy and customer service skills to welcome patients, answer the phones, deal with enquiries and book appointments. You will be someone who is calm, a great listener and have the skills to explain sensitive information in a way thats easy to understand. You will have good IT and keyboard skills and ideally have experience in a healthcare environment or on a busy reception desk. We are a busy, forward-thinking Practice with over 18000 patients who are cared for by a team of dedicated GPs, nurses, HCAs and physiotherapists. Working closely with your colleagues, you will ensure that our patients receive a positive experience each and every time they contact the Practice. Main duties of the job Working 27 hours per week,you will be confident in dealing with the public, over the telephone or face to face. You will have great communication and organisational skills. About us The Three Spires Medical Practice is based in a purpose built health park in the heart of Truro city centre. In addition to the usual GP services, we also provide minor operations, vasectomy and well woman clinics.
