We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven and collaborative individual to join the Field Operations Team as a Field Planning Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. As a key member of the Nestlé Sales Team, this role offers great commercial breadth, working with a significant number of stakeholders within Nestlé and externally. This role is perfect for someone with a focus on achieving results whilst maintaining a strategic outlook on optimising our plans, utilising data and driving impact. A day in the life of a Field Planning Manager Reporting to the Field Sales Controller, as a Field Planning Manager you will be responsible for bringing our fantastic Confectionery plans to life in store. Working closely with our external field partners within the Multiple Grocers Channel, you will be responsible for the value delivery of our field team, ensuring they are focussing on the right actions whilst sharing the insight and results to shape our future execution plans. With a 360 mindset, you will work with Category stakeholders and National Account Managers to shape the direction of our field teams. You will then work closely with our field partners to simplify this direction for our Field Representatives to be able to action in store. With a significant amount of data used and produced by our field team, you will require curiosity to drive insight back into these Nestle stakeholders to understand how we drive more value and impact going forwards. Key responsibilities: - Delivery of Monthly Field Plan to Field Execution Partners - Build a clear understanding of Return On Investment and translate this to internal contacts - Input and Participation in Category PiCOS/MBP/ICP meetings, sharing actionable data that highlights opportunities or challenges - Maintain close relationships with Field Partner Category Controllers for full Category and Customer alignment back to the field team - Utilise data to Evaluate impact; support Category conversations and guide future direction - Lead tactical (ad hoc) field resource execution aligned with Customer and Category Teams to maximise value for Nestlé What will make you successful? - The ability to interact and impact multiple stakeholders across Nestlé and externally - A commercial understanding of how our Customer plans are shaped and executed - The ability to simplify complex Category and Customer plans into simple, actionable direction - Curiosity to understand how we can be better each day - Confectionery knowledge would be useful but not critical - The ability to translate large amounts of data into key insights - Multiple Grocer knowledge would be useful but not critical What you need to know What can we offer in return?
