Occupational Health Advisor/OH Manager | Derby | Full Time | £47,000-£60,000 pro rata depending on qualifications and experience plus company service profit share Our client is recruiting for a dynamic OHA/OH Manager to join and lead their team, expanding services for a minimum of 4 days per week. Based in Derby and covering Central England, they have been operational for over 10 years, with many of their clients having been with them for several years. The services provided include health surveillance, management referrals, and new starter health assessments as part of the overall OH offering. This position is ideal for a motivated OHA, offering the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across different industries, while overseeing and delivering OH services to their employees. You will receive support from an OH Doctor, OH Physiotherapists, Occupational Health Technicians, and administrative colleagues. Are you the right person for the job? Qualification, Experience Education & Training: Diploma or higher qualification in Nursing, OH nursing certification (e.g., Bachelor's degree or higher), relevant specialised training 2 years or more experience at Band 6 or non-NHS equivalent Clinical competency in assessments e.g.: health surveillance, workplace hazard and Occupational Health Needs evaluation, management referrals, new starters health screening Ability to travel to client sites and meetings as required Ability to make OH decisions Evidence of working autonomously and as part of a small team Evidence of supervising occupational health technicians in undertaking health surveillance What will your role look like?
