We are now looking for a Skilled Operator to join the production team at our Ellesmere Port site working on a 24/7 shift pattern.
In this role you will be responsible for:
1. Operating and maintaining the production equipment, following operating procedures and operating a chemical process to ISO9001, 14001 and 18001 standards.
2. Providing planned and unplanned maintenance support.
3. Carrying out in-process adjustments and repairing pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
4. Assisting in production operations as required so a flexible approach to team working will be key to your success.
What you’ll bring to the team:
1. A mechanical or electrical qualification, ideally apprentice trained with post qualification experience in an industrial (preferably chemical) environment.
2. A good level of computer literacy.
3. Previous experience of maintenance management systems; SAP would be an advantage.
4. Counterbalance Fork Lift License, MEWPS and PASMA certification.
5. Siemens hardware/programme experience and/or PLC/SCADA experience would be an advantage.
6. Ability to read and understand P&ID.
