Job summary The Cellular and Molecular Therapies function within NHSBT supports approximately 50% of bone marrow transplants across the country and is also involved in developing new cell and gene-based therapies through clinical trials. This post will offer the right candidate an opportunity to be part of the team managing this fast moving area of science and technology within NHSBT. Main duties of the job This job role recognises the challenge of effectively and efficiently managing national functions across geographically-dispersed sites. In this role you will be required to: Provide administrative capacity nationally across the Function including managing regular meetings, co-ordinating travel, conference registration, courier and catering arrangements, monitoring the Functions inbox, ad-hoc invoicing, website management and supporting Advanced Cell Therapy and Clinical Biotechnology business development work streams. Provide bespoke analytical support for the Function, including, for example, the creation of performance metrics, competitor and market trend analyses, desk-top research reports and horizon scanning. Support and co-ordinate business initiatives using project management tools Develop and maintain specialist expertise and knowledge in order to support activity across the Function.
