Chef de Partie – Maldron Hotel Derry
We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Chef de Partie at the excellent Maldron Hotel Derry.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Head Chef, the Chef de Partie will assist our successful kitchen team in producing exceptional dishes for our guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
2. Monitor food quality and hygiene standards, following directions from department managers.
3. Follow the example of the Head Chef in maintaining excellence and efficiency.
4. Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
5. Support team members in observing proper hygiene during food preparation and storage.
Requirements
1. Previous experience in hotels or similar roles.
2. Passion for and genuine interest in food.
3. Mature and pleasant manner when dealing with customers and colleagues.
4. Team player attitude.
5. Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
6. Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
