SEN Specialist - Ware

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers to create and adapt lesson plans that accommodate individual learning styles.
* Implement EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) and track student progress through regular assessments.
* Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to students' development.
* Deliver interventions to help students access the curriculum effectively.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
* Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and best practices in inclusive education.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
* A relevant qualification in education or SEN (e.g., Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, PGCE, or similar).
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to challenges.
