Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 PA
Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (March 2025 – August 2025)
Work Arrangement: 40 hours per week, Hybrid/Office
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Marketing, the Event Strategy Marketing Manager will manage the campaign development, strategy and execution of a series of new live events. The role will primarily be responsible for working across the exciting project of London Borough of Culture.
They will brief and manage each event campaign, providing regular marketing reports as well continually analysing campaign performance in order to create best results.
The successful candidate will also own responsibility for leading the first 6 months of the London Borough of Culture event marketing campaigns.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
* Management and strategy of event marketing. This will be across online and offline channels including website, print, digital media, advertising and email marketing.
* Understanding and setting measurable outcomes for each project.
* Managing timelines and budgets, staying on top of financial admin during the campaigns.
* Relationship building with internal and external stakeholders in order to support their project deliverables.
* Writing campaign plans and all related briefs in order to communicate deliverables effectively with the wider team.
* Review and evaluate campaign results, pulling out key trends and learnings to inform future work.
* Support the wider marketing team to achieve strategic objectives and reputational aims company-wide.
* Occasional weekend work at some of our events will be required.
Skills and Experience:
* Event marketing experience is essential.
* Highly organised and effective at managing multiple briefs and projects.
* Experience managing large, high pressure event marketing campaigns.
* Team management experience.
* Experience launching and developing marketing campaigns for new products.
* Meticulous language and grammar skills.
* Confident presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and the wider company.
* The ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
