Job Description
An established global leader in commercial real estate services is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will manage a large and diverse geographical portfolio, working with clients to deliver top-tier property management services. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective property management and client satisfaction.\n Key Responsibilities: \nEnsure cost-effective operational management of the client’s portfolio/region.
\nAct as the intermediary between clients, landlords, and agents to ensure uninterrupted use of the client’s premises. \nIdentify and implement cost-saving measures for corporate occupiers. \nMonitor income collection and tenant relations for sublet properties.
\nManage exit strategies for vacated freehold and leasehold properties. \nProvide strategic advice on lease events as needed. \nEnsure compliance with lease terms and statutory requirements, including property inspections.
\nLiaise with internal teams and external professionals to deliver comprehensive services to clients. \nRegular and direct client contact, including reporting and communication. Qualifications & Experience: \nA degree-level estate management qualification or equivalent is desirable.
\nMembership of RICS or working towards is preferred, but not essential. \nA minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial property management or a related field. \nSolid understanding of property management legislation.
\nProficient in general property management functions, with a background in corporate, public sector, or private practice. \nBasic IT skills (word processing, spreadsheets); familiarity with industry software (e.g., TRAMPS, PM&A) is advantageous.
