Müller Milk & Ingredients which aims to build a better dairy future. It produces branded and private label fresh milk, cream, butter, milk drinks and ingredients products and boasts a network of dairies and depots servicing customers throughout the country.
Müller Yogurt & Desserts which aims to help put a smile on the nation’s face. It is responsible for major brands like Müller Corner, Müllerlight, Müller Bliss, Müller Rice, Müller FRijj and Müller Plant Based. It produces chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International and also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.
Role Details
13-month Packaging Internship commencing 1st July 2025 at Market Drayton, Shropshire, where you will play an integral part of our UK packaging development team. You will gain an understanding of packaging materials, processes, and tools during this placement, which is ideal for someone with an interest in the fast-moving consumer goods industry (FMCG).
The Packaging Development Intern Role would be ideal for someone seeking knowledge in:
▪ Packaging technology and materials
▪ Printing and decoration technologies
▪ Process development
▪ Research and innovation
▪ Sustainability and legislation
During the placement, Packaging Development Intern day-to-day tasks may include:
▪ Collect and analyse data to support the packaging team's decisions.
▪ Provide assistance with the development, research, and implementation of packaging proposals, as well as the possibility of managing them.
▪ Support monitoring, laboratory testing and manufacturing trials.
Who Should Apply
GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Working towards a degree in a related field such as Product Design, Polymer Science, Packaging, Manufacturing or Chemical Engineering – this is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Capability to work across multiple projects, meet demanding deadlines, and prioritise tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Creative mindset to support research and innovation projects.
Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to anticipate problems and provide solutions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
Hold a full driving licence.
