To provide microbiological training to Production, Cleaning and Engineering staff and ensure aseptic standards are maintained across the Steriles Business Unit. You will be expected to work closely alongside and build working relationships with operators from a wide range of disciplines on site. All applicants must be aware that this opportunity requires you to be able to work a continuous 24/5 rotating shift pattern (Earlies/Lates/Nights). Please note we have multiple positions available. This role has a broad and varied remit, and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including; Working as an aseptic environmental monitoring operator to perform environmental monitoring of aseptic/terminally sterilized facilities in line with the required monitoring regime. Sample facilities using a range on techniques (surface swab, active air, settle plate, contact plate) Perform routine water sampling and testing – sampling WFI and clean steam used in the filling facilities. Perform microbiological testing of components, intermediate and finished products. Engage in performing shutdown classification/reclassification of areas, including ISO qualification of areas, HEPA filter testing, air exchange rate testing, etc. Deliver and assess aseptic microbiological training as required to new SBU operators.
